Iphone air delivered, first thought it was my first gen AW Ultra gen 1 but then the stupid phone wouldn’t connect to my AirPods either. What is going on? Anyone else experience this? Is this a hardware issue with Bluetooth? I’ve upgraded every year since the 3G and never experienced QA like this before. What is happening to Apple?

iPhone Air Fixed but oof: Never had a phone so messed up at delivery

You should go exchange it for another one. It’s not normal for Bluetooth to not connect or disconnect randomly.
Okay after two hard resets, once I got the AW and AirPods connected my iMessage stopped working and had to reset again. Happy I dont have to rush to an Apple Store but wowzers, half a day troubleshooting was a real pain, not what I’m used to at all.
Cool! Maybe I just finally got lucky lol, it does work now but I’m a bit worried. We will see how it goes.
