OK so here's what went down,
I have an iphone 5 wuth beta 2 installed...ashamed to say but not registered. Anyway, iran into the problem where the touch functions of the screen died on me. Shame on me for not checking here first, but i decided to just turn the phone off and then on again. after that didn't fix the problem i thought: oh well i;ll just go back to ios 6.1.4" So while i was doing the restore i lost power at my house. The power cam back on and when i went to try to restore again itunes keeps getting stuck at preparing phone for restore. When I tried dfu mode, it just spits out usually a 1600 error or 1604 or 1611. I tried my wifes cable to no avail and now im stuck.

Please help!!!

Solved:

So after many hours of trying so many different options to try to get the dang phone to restore, had an epiphany. Remembered that when I lost power, iTunes was still "preparing iphone for restore." The loading bars was still the moving stripes and stuff so it hadn't really started I guess. Anyway, I realized that the phone must have been stuck in recovery mode, so in a last ditch effort, I downloaded tiny umbrella and sure enough there was option to exit recovery mode. When I did that the phone just restarted back up to ios 7 and now I'm a happy camper. Now before anyone tells me how to manually get the phone out recovery mode, know that I googled and scoured this forum and tried all of tips and tricks I could find and nothing worked except
For tiny umbrella. Anyway, it's fixed now.
