Hi!
My MacPro 5.1 worked perfectly fine on 10.14.2. After updating this morning it will not boot anymore and stops after the chime with the prohibited symbol. I took the boot drive out to check it on a second Mac but the drive boots fine.
I entered recovery mode to check if I can install a fresh Mojave onto the boot drive (I made a backup of the data before) but it wouldn’t let me telling me that my graphics card doesn’t support metal (which it does as of this morning).
What could I try next?
[doublepost=1548978687][/doublepost]A PRAM reset worked wonders this time and the Mac is running 10.14.3 right now. Also the boot time seemed to improve significantly. Easy fix. Thought at first it would be the SSD which dies on me.
