Alright all,

I thought I was one of the lucky ones with the 15Al. I took the first Al out the door at the Apple Store in Rockingham Park, NH. I had no white spots or anything for the longest time and thought I lucked out and didn't get a bad unit.

Over the past few months the screen has been getting real bad so I sent it out. Along with the screen I was getting kernal panics about 3 times a day. The volume buttons on my keyboard stopped working. The finish is actually coming off the unit on the palm rest and I don't wear jewelry that would scratch it. Also the day before I sent it out the superdrive shiat the bed.

Needless to say I was not very happy. I got it back and all the problems had been resolved except they wanted me to pay $670 to replace the case where the finish was coming off so I told them where they could put that. Plus to add it off Now I have a nice big red stuck pixel in my new display. They said four dead or stuck pixels is within spec for a lcd display so They refuse to fix it or replace it.

I had less problems with customer service before they started getting a bigger market share. I have been a long time customer of Apple and have bought MANY different units and I am appalled at the lack of respect they gave me lack of value for my money. I would give anything to have my 1gz titanium back compared to this piece of shiat.

Apple can eat me.
