Fixed System Preferences Freeze in Screensaver

My iMac running on 10.14.6 would freeze trying to find a picture folder to use for Screensaver.
I followed a suggestion to
1. Shut down.
2. Start up while holding down Command-R
3. Download 10.14.6 and let it re-install.

No more problems. Works like it should.
Evidently Apple fixed the problem and re-issued 10.14.6.
