I ran into This article from my local paper, and I was just amazed on how much money they can make.

Miami Herald said:
randon Jones, owner of BrokeniPods.com in Orem, Utah, is only 21, yet a year and a half after starting his business, he fixes between 200 and 400 iPods a month. Only now is he drawing up a business plan. He said the average price of a repair is $100.

Thats upto $20,000 in sales a month for a 21 year old

When I was in Halifax this year for school, I'd make REALLY good money fixing iPods. I didn't charge $100 per repair though, I usually made $50, and often (especially in the case of a bad HDD), I would buy the iPod for $50 and either sell it on eBay (as broken), or use it for spare parts for another repair (such as click wheel or screen).

If you've got the cahones, fixing iPods is a great way to make money on the side.
