The '7' key popped off today when I was typing on my early 2008 model Macbook Pro. I searched on Google for different methods of replacing and fixing them, but they don't specify which model and, frankly, I don't understand what they're trying to tell me to do (using a toothpick to move the white spring bar? huh?).

Anyone know an easy way to replace it? I've tried just snapping it back on, which makes it stay in place. That is, until I push a key next to it then push it back down again, popping it right back off.

Help please?

I gave up trying to fix a key on my Apple Bluetooth keyboard. So, I brought it to the Apple store and the genius that helped me graciously put the key back on the keyboard for me without charging me.

Maybe you won't be as lucky as I was, but it's worth a shot.

Well they better fix it sans a charge, they just replaced my keyboard a week and a half ago ha.
