can't beat Max for the price...free.

Max is great. I use it to convert FLAC files to Apple Lossless all the time.

Note : If you are using Leopard you will need to use the latest unstable version to get it to work.

I was always using MAX audio to convert my FLAC files to AAC. However, since switching to leopard I am not able to use MAX audio. Where is the unstable version to download? is there anything else besides MAX audio I could try?

Try XLD… it is free and stable with Leopard…

It's all open source as it is. *shrug*

It's up to you to decide. I've used about 3 different applications now since 2005 to handle FLAC conversion.
