.flac to .mp3 that will play in iTunes?

I've got some audio in .flac format that I need to convert to .mp3 (or any format that iTunes accepts). I can open and play the .flac files in VLC, and I tried the exporting wizard in that app, but no filetype seems to work. When I did manage to get iTunes to import them (after I converted them to .mp4's), all it was was static.

So yeah, help? Please?
