hi

has / does apple ever refer to any of its apple retail stores as a Flagship Store ?

i see this term used more frequently now, as apple plans or opens larger stores in highly visible locations based on designs that reflect its current marketing templates of Today at Apple, etc.

but i have never seen apple itself use this term for any of its locations.

if in fact Flagship Stores is really a thing, then a list of them should be able to defined.
but i cant find such a definitive list.

therefore i think the concept is more defined by consumers than apple itself.
