flash 8 and web browser plug-ins

My Flash plug-ins were working fine on Camino and Safari, but just today I installed Flash 8 on my computer, and I guess it also installed the browser plug-ins. Now in both Camino and Safari, all flash parts of websites don't work and it prompts me to download the plug in from macromedia. I do so and install it, but it still acts like I don't have it. Any idea what's going on?

Someone already answered this question in another thread and I fixed it. You have to find the old plug-in. Do a search for the thread on here where you can find it.
