Another problem to add to my wide range of 17" MBP (needed to rant).

Any advice? Out of warranty second gen of the intel MBPs. Purchased in December 07.

Ever since I upgraded to Leopard, Flash has been terrible. Now I'm on snow leopard, and flash banner ads will set my computer out of control. So much so that I have a add-on to my Firefox so that no flash plays unless I click on the specific window.

When flash begins to act up, everything becomes unresponsive or laggy like I have my MBP running FCP, AVID, Photoshop, controlling NASA's whole computer system, etc.

The solution has always been to stop what ever flash video is playing, walk away from the computer for a half an hour or so and things would be back to normal. At the beginning of my flash problems I could make it through two shows before it finally crapped out. Now I have my fingers crossed to make it to the commercial break (I use hulu).

Now this last week the Kernel panics have begun. I've installed Flash 9, 10, 10 beta, back to 9, back to beta. Those never help. I guess my only solution is to do a clean install? Any thoughts that my hardware might be failing?

EDIT: I've always had kernel panics, but the apple people never had a solution. They were just once or twice a year. Now they are two or three times a week.
