I apologize for the double post, but I wanted to explore this topic here, as content makers.

Adobe announced today that Flash CS5 will be able to compile AS3 into native iphone applications.

How native? Native enough that they already have 6 examples up in the itunes store.

Here is Mike Chambers from adobe: http://www.mikechambers.com/blog/20...ications-for-the-iphone-with-flash/#more-1849

and their developer FAQ:
http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/Applications_for_iPhone:Developer_FAQ

I have written native iphone apps in the past, but am intrigued at this possibility. This would seriously shorten development time.
