I've got these teddy bears for my kids that have a flash drive inside. Basically you load mp3 songs or stories onto it and the teddy bear plays them back when you press certain buttons on the feet of the bears.

I have two bears, one is up and working but the 2nd is giving me problems. The first one, I just plugged in and the drive showed up like any flash drive. The computer won't recognize the 2nd bear, BUT, my other Mac does recognize it, as does our PC.

The Mac that won't recognize it is a MacBook Pro 10.6.5, the mac that will recognize it is a ibook G4, running 10.4.11.

I've tried disk utility and it will not recognize it. I don't want to reformat the drive because I'm not sure exactly how the bear functions and don't want to mess anything up.

Any ideas for why I'm having problems?

TIA.

Will Disk Utility in 10.4.11 / The Windows About Dialog tell you how its been formatted?

Good suggestion, thanks!

From the 10.4.11:

Format: MS-DOS File System (FAT16)
Owners Enabled: No

Capacity: 121MB
Used: 15.4
Number of Files: 512
