I'm using Virtualbox with the image on the a USB2 hard drive at the moment, the speed is better than I expected, I transferred it to a USB3 cheap Lexar flash drive & it wasn't as fast.
If I transferred it to a Kingston USB3.0 DTHX flash drive, with 225/135 read/write times, would I still have the same problem? my understanding is that while the drive is ultra quick, it may not work because the file would be getting small constant updates & may not be able to keep up like a hard drive could, is that correct & right for most flash drives?
