Portable Apps are pretty cool...they're self-contained versions of applications that you can install on USB keys. The best one is Portable Firefox; it keeps a full version of Firefox on your key, so you can have your own browser with all your own bookmarks and settings. There's also Portable VLC if you're using a computer with no media player software. They're pretty useful.

It doesn't but many of us have PC's, too.I didn't think U3 worked with macs??
