It will be here in a flash (or at least as long as it takes a flash from Alpha Centauri to reach Earth).

simple answer is no it doesnt.. i dunno when its coming, if at all. I wouldnt get your hopes up myself, flash is a bit of a slug even on Mac OSX, so i dunno how it would work with iPhone OS

It may be a possibility in the future, but right now the iPhone doesn't support it.

I do actually agree that flash wouldn't work very well on the iPhone, all the ads etc... would probably be a huge battery hog and slow down the phone. It would be nice to have flash as an option to turn on and off though.

I'd guess that the majority of those who want Flash on the iPhone, want it mainly for video playback. Judging by how choppy it is on the HTC Hero, we've got a long wait until Apple commits to it(if ever).

I'm sure Apple would want Flash video playback to be a fluid experience, rather than a half-assed & rushed affair, just so that they can say: "Look. We've got Flash on our device!")
It's a bit like video recording. Sure the camera on the 3G can record via Cycorder, but that's below the quality that Apple would like to roll out.
