Flash - Help me make this look pretty please.

Basically, I need to have scrolling text but every time I try to implement it it looks nasty and garish.

[Ignore the green blocks, they are simply placeholders for the arrow buttons needed]

I used this tutorial for getting this far.

Basically, help me stop it looking ugly...

Maybe try static text instead of dynamic (I'm not sure, but it won't hurt trying)

it seems like an anti-aliasing problem, maybe try experimenting with those (I believe there is a special one for animated text)
