Done everything, but it is not working?

Phone Details: Orange UK - IPhone 4 32GB

Mac Details: Macbook Pro Late 2009 Using Safari plus Mac OSX 10.6.4

1. Has made a network to iphone via wifi
2. changed proxy settings on both mac and iphone
3. flashlight app made it turn purple.
4. tried to connect to safari, and it will not load anything

Did you follow the guide from this site LINK I followed those instructions to the letter on my Macbook running 10.6.4 and had no problems

Edit: Make sure you click "Apply" when you have changed the proxy on your Mac, I forgot to do this the first time round and it didn't work because of that

for the server proxy on your mac put 13.37.13.38 instead of 13.37.13.37 hit apply then try.. after that it worked perfectly for me

If i send it to you the single way it would work is by giving you my iTunes password to authorize the computer, and that probably won't happen

Does this tethering hack work only for computers or would it work on an ipad since you would have to make changes to your wifi settings?
