Hello,

a. Some photos I want to view from web come up with a message that I need to download
and install FLASH PLAYER from Adobe.

I remember when using Windows there were many msgs's and warnings not to do it, for various reasons.

Safe to do on MAC ?

b. Same question re JAVA ?

Thanks,
Bob

I've always had both Flash and Java installed.
Never a problem as a result of either, as far as I can tell.

I would suggest using Google Chrome to view online content. Installing java and flash isn't necessary unless you require opening specific applications.
