I've been trying to get my movies on the internet, and I've found that most sites won't let me upload .mov files, but some will let me upload .swf files. I tried to convert the movies to swf using mx studio, but the sound wouldn't transfer along with the movie. I'm new to flash and don't know where to start. Any advice?

how are you converting it? just start with a blank new document, import the video file and place it on the stage. make sure you export it as a flash 6 or greater file.

hope that helps.

First I tried just starting a new document and dragging the .mov file in. The video worked but there was no sound. Then I tried to just open the .mov file with studio mx and it created a document that fit the dimensions of the file, but the sound still didn't import. It was able to save as a .swf file, but it still didn't have sound.
