I have a 2012 imac, with Mavericks v10.9.1 on. However I know there is a update for flash now, tried to open the system pane and it constantly crashes.

I've restarted iMac, logged out all users, (I'm an admin user) etc but still crashes.

I've managed to update to the latest flash anyway 12.0.0.44, but its still crashing all the time.

Is this just me or is it others as well, and how can I fix it please
thanks

Start by uninstalling the Flash Player, downloading a new installer, then reinstalling. If the crashing continues, posting a crash log here might be helpful.

Thanks a lot for that advice, hadn't really thought I could uninstall it tbh. I did and reinstall and now opens fine. Not sure what happened there then?
