I need to find some freeware/shareware/cheapware that will convert Flash animations to .AVI files so we can post them on a large LED billboard system. So far I've only been able to find Windows-based apps that do this. Anything Mac-native out there?

I'm pretty sure the $23.32USD VisualHub (big brother of iSquint) would do it. You can try it for free anyway, up to 2 minute conversions, maybe buy it if it works.
On the cheap, if resolution and control isn't a big deal you could use the free iSquint, and then convert from mp4 to avi using FFmpegX or something.
