do any of you know of any Flash workshops out there that don't cost an arm and a leg to attend (perferably in Florida)? my work will be paying for it... and it would be for me and one of my coworkers.

If you contact Adobe they can give you a list of events and the cost to attend those events that you and your coworker need as well as information about each class.
Also consider Lynda.com and Kelby Training, both are 100bucks and have really good people giving tips.
