Hello everyone,

got a problem that's driving me nuts as I cannot find solution anywhere.

Since couple of hours ago, most of the youtube videos decided not to load anymore. Some (I haven't figured out what is the point of difference) load completely fine, but most don't. When I open a video, youtube makes quite weird ¨beep¨noise (very pitchy, and very very loud) and then keeps ¨buffering¨on 0:00 - but it actually doesn't load...

I have tried updating Flash, uninstalling it and installing it clean, resetting cache, using Chrome (same effect), but nothing works.

I am currently running the newest version of Yosemite, everything updated to the newest version.

My connection seems stable and fine.

Any reply would be highly appreciated my fellow sheeps.

Thanks! :)

It's not just you.

I'm having the exact same problem, however with Yosemite's Safari 8.0 and Youtube they force you into using HTML5, so it's not a flash problem.

The problem has already been reported here.

The current work around is to trick Safari into thinking it's Chrome by using the Developer Menu in Safari. Develop --> User Agent --> and checking Google Chrome - Mac
