I have just moved to Tiger and installed Flash Professional 2004, plus the 7.2 updater. Before installing the Flash updater, Flash launched normally, afterwards it's taking several minutes to start. It freezes on the 'Initializing Fonts..." section, but activity monitor shows that it's using 0% CPU at this time, and also indicates the application is not responding. If I wait it eventually launches, then runs at normal speed. Has anyone else seen this?

Additional issue. I've just tried to open a file (which had been working fine, even after the update), now Flash is just hanging using all the CPU. Activity monitor also claims it's only using 188K of real memory, which seems far too low.

My machine is an 867MHz 12" PB with 640MB RAM and OS X 10.4.2.

Thanks,
Will
