Hello All,
I am having a problem with my macpro.
Sadly, yesterday I killed the CPU board (shorted a CPU).
With a different CPU board, when I put in a E5630, the computer won't post. All that happens in that the fans start (normal speed), and the led above the power button flashes repeatedly (it doesn't stop flashing until I turn off the computer).
Is this a problem with the motherboard, or is it because the processor isn't detected by the firmware (2010 mac pro flashed with 2009 firmware at the moment).
thanks for your comments.
