Flashing Maintenance

Hello

Im considering flashing a 4870 to use in a mac pro 2006. My only concern
is whether I would need to constantly need to reflash or download something for it to work for every update in osx. Will the card need constant maintenance wih every osx overhall and update or once fashed will it continue to work in the future.

it will work like a normal apple card in that aspect.

the 2nd dvi will be single link, and dual displays only work on SL, and no HDCP

Thanks again, shouldnt be a problem. Is it possible to flash in windows as Im replacing a bust card so dont have another card at the moment.

Windows is risky. DOS is ok. Google for how.


you may be able to boot osx by using natit. wait 5 days and there will be a big tutorial here.
