Flashlight on AW -> how to change brightness to high immediately?

Hi all
When I turn on my flashlight on the AW it turns on immediately but in a low bright mode and then after 3 seconds it goes to high. Is there a way to change this setting so it immediately goes to high when I click the flashlight button?

It does this so you don’t get blasted in the face with a bright white screen. As mentioned by kitKAC, if you turn your wrist out toward the object you’re trying to see, it goes to full blast. Then when you turn it back so you’re looking at the screen, it dims so you don’t get blinded. Very smart.
