Flashlight runtime?

I noticed the new flashlight button in the control panel lets you have the flashlight on with the screen off. This is new; with old flashlight apps turning off the screen also killed the flashlight.

Has anyone done tests to see how long the battery lasts running the flashlight with the screen off? Wondering how useful the iPhone would be as an extended time light source during a power outage or similar.

It's an LED bulb so it's likely to have an extremely long run time as they don't use much power. Apple says standby is 250 hours, with the light on I'd guess around the 200 hour mark on the low end.

Best way to figure it out though, just try it.
