So, I got all of my PowerMac G4 up and running, but when I try to watch a video on Youtube, it's really slow and choppy. Is there anything I need to install to fix this problem? Is there even a way to fix it? I installed the latest flashplayer, but it's still choppy. Can anyone help?

You have to live with it. Adobe Flash Player is poorly coded on the Mac, and requires fairly powerful CPUs to watch videos smoothly. Blame Adobe.

Haha, that's kind of what I was figuring. I'm getting a macbook in a couple months. Hopefully, they'll run good on that.

flash 10 not happening on G4's

forget about flash 10. not going to work on a G4, and will barely work on a G5 (only at lowest of three possible resolutions.)

Not sure what you've got on your G4 OS wise, but I got Leopard with Safari 4 working fine on a G5, if you've got Safari 4 on there you could try the Youtube HTML5 Beta instead of using flash on it.

Oh this is really old, just noticed, haha sorry.
