Who thinks that a flat black aluminum macbook pro would look good. I dont know how to photoshop, but if someone could. I would appreciate it.

I'd buy one. I'm not really keen on sending a laptop to Colorware though.

OMG!!! I just went to that Colorware PC site, and  theyre expensive!!!!!!

a minimum of 500$ to paint your computer and closer to 1000$ to customize the parts w/ different colors!

I admit, their "stealth mac" looked cool, but all their other $#!† just looks tacky as hell !!!!

(sorry i know this is a meaningless post, I just had to get that off my chest)

I think the flat black Speck case looks pretty good on my MBP.

IDK if I'd want it all black, though. Aluminum doesn't take dark black anodizing all that well. It's hard to do it without a purple hue. Scratches would also show like crazy. It would have to be at least Type III hardcoat anodized, which is fairly durable.

But hey, as an option it would be pretty cool.

I think a black MBP would look a bit out of place... Semi-original (compared to all the silver ones) yes, but it's just not for me.

Really? I'm very surprised they discontinued the black MacBooks, they looked MUCH better than the white ones IMO.

I just picked up a Speck Black Satin "See-Thru" case for my UMBP to protect it on a long business trip this week. I think it also looks pretty spiffy and the "sleep", battery charge and Apple logo lights are still subtly visible through the case.
