Flat design vs present design of 3rd party apps?

If the design of iOS 7 goes flat with less details I think it will look bad initially because all the third party apps have followed Apples design rules and are all but flat.

In the beginning it will be weird going from iOS 7 flat stock apps to the third party apps.

It will take long time for the third party developers to update their designs according to the new flat rules.

What are you talking about? Most GOOD apps are completely flat and even changed their icons. I can tell which app is more modern just by whether it has the gloss or not.
Look at Facebook, Google apps, Youtube, they don't seem like Apple apps at all. The menu on the side is what really characterizes third party apps.
