I haven't seen much discussion about the keyboard in iOS7. Given all the changes to a more flat design, I'm curious as to why the keyboard, and all variations of it, have remained the same.

What do you think? Is the keyboard flat enough as it is or are you hoping for changes?

honestly the keyboard isn't that important to me. It looks the same except with a white background. Works for me.

I agree the keyboard isn't something drastically important to me either. Just seems like something that was spared from some of the drastic changes. Perhaps due to its "iconic" look on the iPhone?

Yes, that is probably why.

The keyboard is flat enough. I actually dont mind any changes theyve made to the keyboard so far, but if they actually were to change the design, that would kill me. The keyboard is definitely one of the features that won me over from android's keyboards. I found it a whole lot easier to text on the iOS keyboard.
