flat panel monitor suggestions

hey everyone,

i am looking to buy a new flat panel monitor for my g5. i looked at the apple displays but they are a lot more $ compared to other monitors. i am looking to find the best 19" LCD monitor for the best price. i was looking at the dell 19" ultrasharp LCD. it says that it is pc compatible, but i am wondering if it will work with a mac. is this a good choice if it is mac compatible?

I'll refer you to this thread. There are a ton of other threads about this very issue on the forums right now... look around, lots of great advice. Don't be affraid to search the forums.

I've read the "Apple displays aren't expensive" argument in numerous threads.. let's not start it here again.

Dell 2001FP (Using LG.Philips panel) - 20.1" - 1600x1200 native - 400:1 - 16ms response - not too much $$$$!
