Flickering led displays

Is there any info on this rumor? That 15" MBPro led screens are seemed to be creating flickering problems?

Well one or two users make complaints but i didnt hear all of them say something about flickering.
So is flickering an overall issue or is it only from some people having defective laptops?
I mean did Apple make an official announcement in taking back all the whole batch of macbooks or macbookpros?
