Flickering MacBook screen

hey guys,

I just got myself a mini dvi to dvi adapter to replace my mini dvi to vga adapter. the mini dvi to vga worked perfectly all the time but now when I connect my dvi adapter both my screens are flashing blue. Of course I tried to put the vga back on to check my preferences but when connected, the vga one started flashing too!!! I really hope you guy could help me out or tell me what to do.

check the pins... make sure none of the pins are bent.

Everything looks OK, so I went to the store were i bought it. I showed the problem to them and they are replacing the cable first. If the problem is still there they will send the macbook to apple for repair.
