I'm not sure what the problem is, but the screen of my iphone 3gs is flickering and has lines running all over the place. The screen doesn't seem to be physically damaged (cracked/ bleeding etc.) and it's not water damaged. Also, the touch system works fine, I can slide the bar to unlock the phone and type in my code just fine, yet I can hardly see a thing on the screen. I'm wondering, as someone with little measurable knowledge or experience of the inner workings of electronic doohickeys of this nature, is there any way I can fix this or will I have to get someone else to do it?

I've attached a picture in case people didn't get my problem from my wired, slightly retarded description :)
