I just bought a new 65” Sony x900h 4K TV last week. It’s been awesome so far, and have not had any issues until tonight.

my kids were watching the new Godzilla vs Kong movie on the HBO app on the connected AppleTV.. and these thin white moving lines started showing up across the tv.

I exited the app, and they still appeared even in the UI or a different movie. I then switched inputs to the PS4 and they were not present.

When I switched back to Apple TV. The lines were not there (and have not returned as of yet).

Any idea what might I’d caused this? Is this a hardware issue with my new panel? Or is this related to the Apple TV or an HDMI cable going bad.

would love some advice, especially since tv is still within return window.

My experience with that sort of interference has always been either a bad connection or cable. I would change out the HDMI cable to see if that cures it.
