I am trying to get some pictures (at least 10 gb) from my dad's laptop to my iMac. We are trying to do this by sharing a folder on my mac and then browsing to it on his laptop and dropping the pictures in. We run in to a problem though; about 300 mb in, it stops and gives him an error on his laptop that says there is not enough disk space to continue. (I have 80 GB free).

I have Mac OS 10.5.1

Can anyone tell me what is going on and/or how to solve it?

Thanks in advance,
Craig

I've never been fond of transferring large files over a network. It tends to fail more often than not. I would either suggest burning a CD or getting an external hard drive (since you can't use target disk mode on your mac and connect to the pc due to the pc not understanding HFS+).
