Flight Widget Issue

So I am not sure if the is a JetBlue issue or an iOS issue but the widget is showing “Boarding in XX min, XX sec” even when the flight is already boarding / doors closing / doors closed. Clicking on the widget to go the app seems to fix the status.

Has anyone experienced this?

I sorta get the feeling that airline companies don't really care if their apps/notifications/widgets properly work in a useful way or not.

Me too. I'd rather they not have one than to show incorrect info.

Yes, I have also witnessed that. Tapping into the app appears to be the only dependable method at the moment, as the widget frequently lags behind the actual flight status.
