So my friend has an iWatch SE Gen 2, when she uses the stair master cardio machine, the watch doesn't record any floor/flights. Additionally, she told me that sometimes during the day, she would see that she has went up 2 flights on the iWatch but the phone shows 15 flights so it's very inaccurate.

Any tips on how to solve this?

It's not an iWatch, it's an Apple Watch.

The watch records stairs using a barometer, so a stair master would not be recognized. It also means that air pressure changes can be misinterpreted as stairs. Walking outside, for example, may result in a change in air pressure, which may be misunderstood.

The flights will never be totally accurate.

Also is your friend recording the exercise in the workout app? There is a Stair Stepper workout.
