I bought a new mino HD Flip cam about 2 weeks ago and at first everything was working just fine but now the software just crashes every time I try to open it. I've tried un-installing it and re-installing it several times, but that hasn't made any difference. My MacBook Pro has OSX 10.5.8 running right now; is there anything I can do to fix this problem or should I just use iMovie and forget about the Flip software altogether?

It's junk. The only "useful" thing it does is automatically copy over videos. And even then, I still need to import them from within iMovie. Just delete it and be done.
