iPod touch Flip HD vs iPod Touch

That's a nice comparison vid. The ipod touch takes surprisingly good video. Thanks for the vid, it's nice to see a post where someone isn't complaining about the screen or ram.
 
Wow thanks a ton for that. It's interesting how similar they look although it seems the iPod has a bit warmer cast and exposes things a bit brighter, which means it's a bit more prone to blown highlights. Otherwise the level of detail and noise look remarkably similar.

I know right. It's a great deal we're getting here. They just added new features to the iPod, they didn't downgrade it.
 
Flip HD will be out of business soon...
Ipod touch records pretty decent HD video. I am willing to go with iPod Touch because it can be also used for many other things.

Is there zoom on the Touch video? After looking at this, I am definitely considering buying one.
 
I'm laughing right now. People are so stupid, I've been reading all the posts. Everyone needs to shut up/realize something. You could spend $200 on a 8GB HD video recorder, or $230 for a top notch music player, internet browser, HD video recorder, video player, and the list goes on. But people are so needy they have to have it their way.
 
This is really refreshing (actual content).

I would say there is a difference in quality between the two, and the iPod looses out a bit, but still very impressive and more then good enough to meet my needs/wishes. I've ordered through Amazon, so I'm currently waiting, but once I get mine I'll try to add some content to the forums as well :).

By the way, nice dogs :)

nope not in video mode, just in still cam mode and it blurs the pic anyway so most people probably won't use it
 
Wow, that's rather nice. How's the mic? Any idea how it handles louder sounds? I'm just wondering how it would handle a concert or something like that.

EDIT: At work so I have no sound right now.
 
The video is really good, though I wish the audio was as good as the Flip as well.

im not sure,i don't really know much about cams/ focus features..never really had a real cam so i wouldn't know lmao
but it doesn't has tap to focus if that's what your asking.just tap to exposure,basically what you see on the screen is what will be taken in the pic. it doesn't change or focus in on anything.

the sound quality in vids is pretty loud too, you can hear dogs barking that's 4 houses down and hear rock moving when walking on a bunch of them

Yea that's what I was thinking first.

In the dogs video, I can't tell a difference, but when it was in the landscape of the hills you can tell the color difference. I'm considering selling my Ultra HD.
