Flip Video and Final Cut Pro

Hello,

I shot some HD video on my new Flip Camera, and used mpeg streamclip to compress it into h.264 using 1280x720 (uncompressed).

When I import the videos into FCP I can see them, however, when they are in the timeline they almost all have dropped frames. How can I eliminate this?

Should I compress it differently or do I need to fix my FCP settings. I am working with the new FCP Studio

What happens when you render your timeline?

used mpeg streamclip to compress it into h.264 using 1280x720 (uncompressed).

do NOT compress it to h.264... that is not an editing codec (and is not uncompressed).

go to ProRes (non-HQ) for use in FCP
