Is it possible to flip a video on Quicktime pro or iMovie?

Im trying to figure out a camera mount on my SUV when we go off-roading but it seems like the only good solution would be to mount the camera upside down.

you can do this in VLC but you will need to set it every time you view the video.

open VLC's preference and go to Video->Filters->Transformation and set it to 180 degrees. then open the Extended Controls from the Window menu and tick Transformation under Video filters.

you could probably save the video flipped with Final Cut Studio but ive got no idea how to do it.

You can rotate video using quicktime PRO. Open movie and select "show movie properties" from the "window" pull down. there select the video track and click "visual settings".use the rotation buttons to orientate the video as desired.
This is my favorite use for QTPro thus far. Hope this helps.

under window>show movie properties... i dont see any option for visual settings. I see annotations, resources, audio settings, and presentation.

*edit* nevermind, i needed to click the movie track. Thanks!
