i noticed this picture on apple's website....just thought it was an awesome design for the box

And it comes in Black and White!! Sides are white and front&back are black. iPhone 4 is written in silver.

The box is bigger. That means more trees are cut and its less environment-friendly.

I don't know. I guess we'll know it's the box if we see some blurry pics taken at an awkward angle on Engadget. Then Gizmodo will buy it for $5k and milk it til the phone is released.

I'm usually just as excited for packaging as I am for the product inside of it.

It's a nice design, but it won't fit in well next to my iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, and iPad boxes. Lol. Actually, to be honest, the box is very un-apple. Having that "glamor" shot on packaging hasn't been used recently, a face on simple image has been Apples way for awhile now, of course they could be changing that.
