This has been here forever and I have always just hid it in the lower right hand corner. Well, I drug it out today and I was just wondering how i could get rid of it?

Congrats, You discovered a hidden feature in expose'. There are several articles on how to do this, do a search. It has to be activated from the terminal, therefore it has to be turned off from the terminal.

To get rid of the bubble, type the following in Terminal.

% defaults write com.apple.dock wvous-floater -bool false

For those wanting to get the bubble, change false to true.

Changes will take effect after you've logged in again or if you're impatient, type the following in Terminal.

killall Dock

thanks a lot! it always used to pop up in the middle of my screen after installing updates and that is how I remembered after the 10.4.3 update

You can use it to activate parts of Exposé. It's kinda pointless, it was just a test to see whether it would be better to have hot keys, hot corners, or a bubble from memory... Thankfully Apple chose the first two by default but left the third there for people to play with. :)

If you're confident with Terminal (and you don't have to be very competent for this particular task), enable it and have a play. :)

Thanks. Now another thing to add to my pointless activities.:)
