Hi all, first iPad and looking for a good (ideally free) app to create basic Floorplans have Ive tried a few but most want a subscription to export them. Is there something already installed that may be usable like notes? I’m not after anything spectacular just basic 2D floor layouts. Thanks

There is a vector graphic app called “graphic” it also has the Mac app, it offers several export options (Jpg, pdf, png, svg , pds) and it is a perpetual license

I use Graphic for other things, but if I wanted to draw floorplans it's what I'd use. It's a vector-based illustration app.

I use an app called Live Home 3D - Interior Design

Think I spent £9.99 on it. Well worth the money though. I’m a beginner with this kind of thing and really wanted it to create the rooms in my flat, to understand if I could fit certain pieces of furniture in them. After spending a bit of time measuring everything, it was really easy to create the rooms and current furniture, then add the items I was looking to purchase.

You can create the rooms in 2D, view in 3D, then you can export to a rendered VR model, place your room into your environment and walk through it as if you were there! Really powerful for the price and I’m sure someone with even a little more skill than me to create fantastic plans. Mine were basic but done the job perfectly.
