While purchasing a new Macbook yesterday online I was not able to purchase Apple Care with the message "The manufacturer will not allow this to be sold to addresses in the state of Florida" Has anyone had problems like this? (I never purchased it for my other Apple equip.)

In order top protect the old people from scams, you cannot over phone or online at time of purchase also purchase extended warranties. You can buy AppleCare separately and then activate it. It was a problem with the new iPhone AppleCare when they initially required activation at time of purchase, but Apple had to relent and I purchased it locally and acticated it later.
